Dirang is placed in the district of West Kameng in the State of Arunachal Pradesh. It is located near to River Kameng which is the main tributary of River Brahmaputra. National Research Centre On Yak

Sangti Valley

After winter season, they go back to their home country in April and May. The people of the locality refer these birds as tung tung ka uk.

The Kalachakra Gompa is a 500 years old monastery that is placed in the upper part of Kalachakra. Kalachakra is a village located in Dirang. Mainly, this place is visited by people who follow Buddhism. The people who love to share their time in the serene environment also visit this place.
