Aligarh is a metropolitan city located in the State of Uttar Pradesh famously known as the ‘city of locks’ and the ‘mecca of education’. Moreover, the UPSRTC or Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation conducts regular bus services to major cities in India and connects the city with Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Madhya Pradesh etc. The bus stations of UPSRTC are Aligarh Depot bus station and the Masoodabad Depot bus station at Budh Vihar. The buses to Delhi from Aligarh ply through different routes. The Khair- Delhi road passing through Tappal, Palval and Faridabad is under maintenance and it is not advisable to travel by car through this route. The route through Yamuna Expressway and G Noida is one of the best routes to travel to Delhi. Yet another road is through Ghaziabad which is also under some works. The visitors can also avail the services of Haryana Road Transport Corporation as well which is available frequently. The NH 91 which links Kolkata and New Delhi touches Aligarh. The NH 93 which connects Agra and Moradabad passes through Aligarh. The Agra Aligarh path is called as Brijbhoomi Expressway. The Yamuna Express way is also famous road way to reach Aligarh.
