Munda Pahar beach is in Chidiyapatu and it is just 25 kms away from Port Blair. The mangrove growth in the Munda pahar beach gives a good experience for the travelers. There is a difference in the sea bed of the Munda Pahar beach when compared with the other beaches of Andaman and Nicobar. The sea bed is less rocky and it is good to take a dip in this ocean. Wandoor Beach
Wandoor is a small village which is located in southern Andaman. Wandoor beach is situated in the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. This place is also known as the gateway to the Mahatma Gandhi Marine National Park. Travelers planning to go to Jolly buoy island and Red Skin Island should come to the Wandoor beach in order to catch the boats leaving for these Islands. You need to cover a distance of thirty kilometers from Port Blair in order to reach Wandoor beach. Too many boats of fishermen can be seen on the shore of Wandoor beach. So it is not a good place to spend a lot of time and this beach will be crowded by travelers who have reached there with the aim of visiting the Jolybuoy Islands. If the travelers are not engaged through any tourist agents, then they need to get the ticket which is around INR 250. Extra charges will be levied for the still cameras and video cameras. There are counters at Wandoor beach where the travelers need to deposit a security amount of INR 100 each for every plastic items carried by them. This amount will be repaid after producing the plastic items at the counter after coming back from the islands. The travelers who have planned for going to Redskin Island and Jolybuoy islands should reach the Wandoor beach before 9:00 am. The boats will be leaving from Wandoor beach by 9:00 am and it will be returning by 4:00 pm. If you are an adventurous guy then you could prefer a trekking to natural caves formed by the erosional activities of the sea waves.
Collinpur beach
Collinpur beach is located near Tirur which is around 36 kms away from the capital city, Port Blair. It also has a stunning sandy beach. And the sea is so shallow so that travelers can swim here without any fear. People come here to see sun set and for swimming. Travelers can stay at resorts which are located near the Collinpur beach.
